The happy hour info for my favorite bar is wrong — how do I fix it? ▼
On any venue card you'll find a "Report incorrect info" link. Tap it to flag the issue and tell us what needs updating. You can also use the contact form above with the topic "Incorrect Information."
Is 517 Happy Hours free to use? ▼
Yes, completely free! We built this as a resource for the Lansing community. There are no paywalls, no subscriptions, and no ads. Just local happy hour info.
How often are the specials updated? ▼
We update specials as frequently as possible — especially when bars notify us of changes. That said, happy hour times and prices can change without notice, so we always recommend calling ahead or checking a venue's website to confirm current specials before heading out.
What is the Going Tonight feature? ▼
Going Tonight lets you tap a button on any venue card to let the community know you're heading there tonight. It shows a live count of how many people are going — a fun way to create some social energy around a spot. Counts reset at midnight each day.
What is the Single & Mingle rating? ▼
Single & Mingle lets you rate a venue's singles scene right now — 🔥 Hot (singles everywhere), 😊 Warm (some singles out), or 😐 Chill (mostly couples/groups). Ratings are community-submitted and reflect today's vibe only — they reset each day.
How does the Bar Crawl Builder work? ▼
Go to the Bar Crawl tab, search and add up to 4 venues, set an optional meet time, and click Build. You get a shareable link and a formatted itinerary with each stop's address and hours. You can text it straight to your group using the Text to Friends button.
